Lotus Exige

Exige is truly a breathtaking sports car. Unfortunately, the performance of the original engine is not quiet what it promised to be. So we implement up to 147 KW/200 HP for this Lotus. LOTUS EXIGE - TECHNICAL DATA:
Body: closed coupe reinforced with fiberglass compound, body based on the Lotus Sport Elise. For the approved housing of the wide treat tires, clam shells are suppose to be set on front and rear. A lowered front spoiler in connection with higher set rear tail fin creates an even, aerodynamic propulsion characteristic of 35 Kg in the front and 45 Kg in the rear at 160 Km/h. Simultaneously, and while maintaining the same values for wind resistance found in the Elise, this aerodynamic design improves the traction for curves and stability for top speed driving. Hard top with integrated inlet for the cold air that cools the engine. Combined with a glass valve that improves towards the rear above the trunk. This valve has a centered outlet for the heat developing underneath the hood.
Chassis: Epoxy adhered aluminum-silicon alloy parts produced in an extrusion process make up this light weight Lotus chassis. Integrated steel construction serve as roll over bars. Cross member mounting for a 4-point racing harness is optional.
Undercarriage: Dual wishbone axle for the front and rear with independent wheel suspension. Concentric coil spring with adjustable bearings mounted on Koni Sport shock absorbers. Stabilizers for the front axle re-adjustably installed. Front aluminum vertices made via extrusion process and at the rear of forged steel.
Steering: Titan Motorsport rack and pinion with an overall ratio of 15.81 and 2.3 steering wheel turns from stop to stop.
Brakes: 282 mm diameter, iron cast, cross drilled, ventilated brake disks for the front and the rear. No servo-assisted pedal. Separated hydraulic system for front and rear. AP Racing opposed piston caliper on front wheels. Brembo single-piston disc brake for the rear. Locking brake lever.
Wheels: Rimstock, Lotus Sport Elise aluminum wheels.

Tires: Yokohama A039 tires developed accoring to Lotus’ prerequisites for traction and driving characteristics and a motor sport design.

Instruments: analog-electronic Stack group of instruments with newly calibrated RPM indicator and speedometer as well as a multi-functional display for fuel gauge, coolant gauge and a seat belt control indicator.
Interior: 2-seated cabin with Senotex interior and Elise equipment. Servicing friendly placing of all relevant electronic components including the engine management control unit on the rear panel underneath a protective housing.
Lights: 6” low beam under aerodynamic acrylic glass housing. Low placed high beams are standard.
Engine: Transversally mounted straight 4-cylinders, 1.8 L oil cooled mid-engine is standard. Dual camshafts with mechanical push-back rods and electronic manifold injection. Engine management system developed by Lotus. Maximum performance: 179 HP / 132.5 KW at 7800 RPM. Torque: 171 Nm at 5000 RPM.
